Teething

c/o internet image
Although some babies find teething painless, others become cranky, have sore gums, and have disruptions in their usual sleeping and eating patterns. Often, when babies are teething, they have a desire to chew on things. Try giving your child something safe to chew on, like a rubber teething ring or a wet washcloth that has been frozen for about 30 minutes.
Whatever object you choose, make sure it's not hard enough to bruise the gums and that it can't break into smaller pieces. Objects also should be big enough that babies can't get the whole thing in their mouths. You also can try rubbing your baby's gums with a clean finger. Some babies prefer cool foods when teething.
If your child is still cranky, an occasional dose of acetaminophen is sometimes helpful. But always check with your doctor first. If your baby has a fever, it's probably due to something other than teething and you should call your doctor.

Locked In

Thanks to Roman May

There’s a sweet deal going on right now at http://www.cabletvadvisor.com/. You get free movie channels, in addition to regular channels, at a lower price than I’ve been able to find anywhere else. The only problem is, in order to get the deal, you have to sign a 2 year contract. From what I gather, you are pretty locked in to the contract, too. There’s probably some fee if you break it. I know for a fact that the longest I am going to be in this town is 8 months. I really need a plan that doesn’t require a contract you are locked in to. More like a pay as you go, month by month basis. The only option I have found like that was priced ridiculously high. I don’t know if they allow you to pass on your contract to the next person to live in your house without having to pay the fee. That may work out if so, because I’m pretty sure a buddy of mine is going to move in.

Savings on Walgreens Prescription

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

If not all, most of us take prescription medicine.  Over the years all these medications get higher and higher in terms of price, some even are ridiculously expensive.  My son alone has his own set of vitamins which of course has to be given by all means.  Me and my husband take several supplements as well, it's something that we need to have and we're willing to spend for it.  I admit that you try adding up all the medications and sum up the cost you'd feel quite heavy about it.  It's not at all that light on the budget and this is just one of those things which you need for your health.

Finding means of saving even just a little is very important nowadays.  Walgreens Prescription Savings Club for instance is offering special discount on its annual membership.  You ca have everybody in your family covered for a slow as $35.  Your spouse, kids, and other dependents younger than 22 including pets can benefit making some savings.  Individuals however are charged $20 for the annual membership which entitles to discounts on brand name and all generic medications.

All little saving added up together will eventually sum up to something bigger than you thought.  Imagine getting some discounts on flu shots and other medical supplies which usually cost a good out of the pocket amount.  Feel free to check out more details in Walgreens and to keep you posted with all deals, you may follow Walgreens on Twitter and simply like Walgreens on Facebook.

Walgreens PSC

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Everybody wants to make as much savings possible nowadays, it's tough time and people has to make things work for their budget.  That's what Walgreens want for all of us too when it come to our prescription needs.  Since Walgreens and Express Script parted ways, patients who are under Express Scripts Program had to switch pharmacies in order to get their presciption medicines filled.  So many conflicts within the the two parties resulted to much inconvenience to consumers.  Of course people are feeling lost not knowing how to deal with their prescription matters.

Considering how many people depend on Express Scripts all these years, the impact of the contract change caused disruption upon the people under the coverage.  To make things easier for the affected people, Walgreens offers a special discount on annual membership for their Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.  Club members are entitled for discounts on flu shots, diabetic supplies, nebulizers, pet prescriptions and more savings on brand name and all generic medications.  At least this way it can help lessen the burden for those who just want to get their prescription medicines without any hassle.

Imagine getting discounts for your prscription medications, your entire family including your pets for as low as $10 a year.  That's the membership fee that covers you, all your dependents 22 and younger.  For that amount you'll be on your way to saving more and spending less for your much needed prescriptions.  individuals too ca  have the membership with a fee of $5.  To be always updated for the latest news and promotions you may follow Walgreens on Facebook and Walgreens on Twitter.

Mom at Home

It’s so nice being able to wake up in the morning and get ready knowing I don’t have to rush into any office. I don’t have to break my neck to impress some boss or get a report in – all I have to do is do the best I can when it comes to raising my children. I love the kids so much and it’s so important to me that they get as much one on one time with me as possible, and I know they appreciate it too. I can’t believe I get to spend my days looking at things like Hughes Net Nash rates and back to school clothes sales rather than spreadsheets of sales figures and whatnot – it’s such a more pleasant way to live my life. I loved my job, I really did, but being able to stay at home is so much more rewarding than I ever thought it could be. I wouldn’t give this up for anything and that’s the honest truth about being a stay at home mom!
