Labor and delivery went well for me having an epidural to ease and numb me from excruciating pain, by 6:47 I finally delivered my baby boy. It's been 2mos since I first held him wrapped in a baby blanket. Despite the pain from the fading anesthesia, having him right on my chest made me forget all about it. That's when i saw his first glance at me, heard his first cry. He was reacting to me, listening and communicating in his very own ways. I managed to smile even while being stitched and being overtired from the overnight labor. I have my baby in my arms, nothing beats that warm gentle feeling.
